Marion County WIC offers farmer's market vouchers that can be spent on fresh fruits and vegetables. We are pleased to participate in this program that encourages consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables for pregnant and nursing mothers and children under 5 years of age. These can be redeemed at our farm market during regular business hour, seven days/week. On Saturday, July 16th, representatives of the Health Department were at our farm to distribute vouchers to eligible people. Many people with young children were served on that day. The next day scheduled for the Health Department to be at our farm is September 17th, 8am until noon. To determine whether you might be eligible for the WIC program, go to www.wic.in.gov or call 317-221-7401 to find a clinic near you.
